Our Mission
Give players in this region a league that takes their season as seriously as they do.
Competition is the
point, not the by-product.
Synergy Leagues runs organised rep basketball for players from U10 through U15 across Southwestern Ontario. Clubs from Kitchener–Waterloo, Guelph, Burlington, Hamilton, St. Thomas and the Tri-City area come together in one place to play a real season against real opposition.
We built this league because a season should be more than a handful of loosely-organised games. Every division here plays a full regular season with tracked results, published standings, and a playoff finish that actually settles something.
Play real games
Development happens under pressure. Our schedule is built so that players get consistent, competitive minutes against clubs at their own level — not blowouts in either direction, and not a season that fizzles out before it means anything.
Run it properly
Fixtures, scores and standings are recorded and published, so players, coaches and families always know where things stand. Rules are written down and applied consistently. If something goes wrong, there is a process for it.
Protect the environment
These are kids. The way adults behave around the game shapes whether they stay in it. We hold players, coaches and spectators to a written standard of conduct, and we enforce it — because a gym that feels safe and respectful is the precondition for everything else.
Read our Code of Conduct for what that means in practice.
Play at the right level
New this season, every age group from U10 to U15 splits into Gold and Bronze. Gold is our top competitive tier; Bronze sits a step below it for developing rep programs.
Splitting the age groups means fewer lopsided games and more that come down to the last few possessions — which is the whole point. If you run a program in this region and want your club in, at either tier, we want to hear from you.
